Left Heart Failure Features
1. Decreased cardiac output-manifests as activity intolerance, low pulse volume, blood pressure
2. Pulmonary edema -manifests as cough with frothy sputum, orthopnoea, nocturnal dyspnoea
3. Impaired gas exchange -manifests as cyanosis and hypoxia
Signs of left heart failure-B/L basal crepitations, S3 gallop, Pulsus alternans
Right Heart Failure Features
1. Pitting pedal edema
2. Raised JVP
3. Tender hepatomegaly
